I have mixed feelings about this book. It is quite impressive, and comprehensive. I spent quite a bit of time going through the book page by page. There is a lot of information about cuisines of the different Latin American countries, and the various foods. I saw some recipes I wanted to try, but more that I know I will never make. I am not sure it is a book I should give shelf space to, as I am trying to cull out books that I do not use. But the author/chef definitely knows her topic, and I am sure there are a lot of delicious and authentic recipes in the book.
