I'm Deb. I'm Scottish. I've recently moved to Beijing following a perfect year in Paris - at cook school followed by a 'stage' (French code for slavery) in a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. I miss Paris a bit - the markets, the kitchen supply shops, and the cookbook shops - but am absolutely bowled over by Beijing. I'm slowly getting to grips with markets, new vegetables, different brands, the stunning range of restaurants and of course the language.
