Thoughts About This Book

This book is intense. It's a serious, almost academic, cookbook of authentic Italian baked goods. Not Italian-American specialties you'd find in a bakery in the U.S. but real items sourced from Italy (the author is an expert on cooking and baking as it is done in Italy). I find it a bit intimidating but I am determined to start making some of these things. I think it promises to be very rewarding.
