This is a standard for me. I'm a big hazelnut fan so I'm always happy when I have a chance to sneak them into a dessert. This dough can be challenging to work with--do not over mix--but it does patch very easily.
I sometimes use the traditional raspberry jam to make a Linzer Tart, but most often I use homemade jam. A couple of years ago it was a Three Citrus Marmalade. This year, blueberry jam with cinnamon and clove.
