I got this cookbook right after it came out, and it doesn't disappoint. It's similar to Plenty in that all of the recipes require a few more steps, but they pay out is big -- the flavors are deep and complex. I've made 1 meat recipe and 4 veg recipes so far, and all have turned out very well and have been quite tasty. I'd highly recommend this book, especially if you're looking to explore cuisine from this part of the middle east.
This is actually a magnificiant book.The pictures are beautiful and the recipies seems to be authentic (but I can't be sure since I have never been to Jerusalem). All the recipe I have try are savory (even if sometimes they were not to my taste). A top quality book. Really inspiring to create your own recipe too.
