This was my souvenir (well one of them) of a great trip to San Francisco. Only thing is I have to turn it upside down to get the seasons right ?

I picked this up as a gift for myself (and another for my sister) on a return trip to the Bay Area a few years ago. I love paging through it and finding foods and recipies that are tied to the seasons. Recipes are accompanied by wonderful stories of the local purveyors.

I find myself turning to this book frequently during spring and summer for unfussy recipes that showcase the amazing produce I pick up and the Alemany and Ferry mkts.
